Follow-up Report on the Airstrike on India Market, Kyauktaw, Arakan
Death Toll Rises to 50

During yesterday’s airstrikes by the fascist terrorist military council on India Market in Kyauktaw and the surrounding area of the Kissapanadi Bridge, in addition to those killed in the mass-casualty incident, as many as 22 people sustained serious injuries.
Among the 22 injured, U Aung Min Tun, aged 40, originally from Aung Myay Kone Village, Ponnagyun Township, the son of U Maung Ba Sein and Daw Daung Ma Sein, died while receiving medical treatment at 11:20 a.m. on September 29, 2026.
As a result, the total number of people confirmed dead in the airstrike has now risen to 50, while 21 seriously injured people remain under treatment.
