On September 12, 2025, at approximately 1:05 AM, the fascist terrorist Military Council (Military Commission) conducted an airstrike, dropping two 500-pound bombs on Tha Ret Ta Pin village, Kyauktaw Township, Arakan State, during the middle of the night. The bombs directly struck the front of Pannya Pan Khaing Private High School in Tha Ret Ta Pin village.
As a result of these two 500-pound bombs, a total of 18 innocent civilians, including students of Pannya Pan Khaing Private High School and some young children nearby, were killed in quick succession, and more than 20 others sustained severe injuries, according to initial reports.
